Biography
Brianna Autin is a multimedia artist, filmmaker, and educator from South Louisiana. She holds a BFA in New Media and Digital Art from the ÀÏ˾»ú¸£ÀûÍø and an MFA in Integrated Media Arts from the University of Colorado Boulder. Her artistic practice explores self-investigation, personal experience, and the relationship between home, place, and the physical self. She views radical vulnerability as an artistic strength and uses personal experience as a point of departure for her work.
Brianna has four years of experience teaching at the college level, with courses ranging from intro to fine art and digital media to photography, video art, and other time-based media. She taught at the University of Colorado Boulder and Rocky Mountain College of Art and Design. Brianan also currently works as a teaching artist with the Acadiana Center for the Arts.
As an educator, Brianna is dedicated to fostering an inclusive and collaborative learning environment. She believes education is a shared journey where both students and instructors contribute to the learning process. Her goal is to inspire students to push boundaries, explore new ideas, and achieve their full potential as artists and scholars.
