A Year of Progress and the Work Ahead
Dear faculty and staff,
A year ago, UL 老司机福利网 was facing one of the most significant financial challenges in its history. Now, as we prepare to close fiscal year 2026 and begin a new fiscal year, I want to thank you for helping move the University forward.
Together, we have stabilized our finances, addressed the immediate fiscal crisis, and expect to close FY26 with approximately $3.4 million in the bank. That progress was made possible by the commitment and resilience of faculty, staff, students, alumni and supporters.
At the same time, our work is far from finished. Current FY27 projections estimate approximately $297 million in revenue and $323 million in expenses. These intentionally conservative projections assume no growth in revenue and provide the framework for continued budget planning and decision-making in the year ahead.
While we are entering FY27 on stronger footing than we were a year ago, we remain focused on building a sustainable future for the University. Through Vision 2035, we will continue creating new opportunities for our students, our employees and our state.
I invite you to watch this brief video message for additional reflections on the past fiscal year and the work ahead.
Thank you all, and Geaux Cajuns!
Dr. Ramesh Kolluru
