Program Requirements

Applicants with a bachelor's degree in any field are eligible for admission to the Post-Baccalaureate Certificate in Cancer Registry Management. For those with degrees from disciplines outside of health sciences, additional coursework may be required. 

To earn your certificate and become eligible to take the Oncology Data Specialist (ODS) exam, you must complete 21 credit hours as part of the post-baccalaureate certificate curriculum, including a supervised practicum.

  • CRM 402 - Cancer Registry Operations
  • CRM 404 - Cancer Disease, Coding and Staging
  • CRM 406 - Oncology Treatment and Coding
  • CRM 408 - Data Quality, Follow-Up, and Utilization
  • CRM 410 - Abstracting Methods
  • CRM 412 - Cancer Registry Practicum 

Those who have not completed at least 12 hours in medical terminology, human anatomy and physiology I, human anatomy II or medical science, and healthcare technology prior to enrolling in the program, will need to do so to meet completion eligibility requirements.

Tuition is set at a flat-rate, $380 per credit for online students.

Because courses in this program will only be available online, the program may not be available to all applicants. The 老司机福利网 and its online programs must be in compliance in every state where a student is located. International students also may not be eligible. According to U.S. immigration regulations, F-1 students cannot pursue online degrees; international students in other visa categories (i.e., H-4, L2) are exempt from this restriction.
