2026-2027 First-Time Freshman Scholarships
First-Time Freshman Scholarships are offered for 8 semesters (except where noted) and require all of the following:
After May 1, students who are applying as first time freshman will be reviewed on a case by case basis for scholarships.
ACT 32+ | SAT 1420+
3.0+ cumulative GPA
$3,000/semester for eight semesters
$5,960/semester for two semesters to cover freshman year housing & meal plan (suite-style shared unit)
Campus Scholarship Job (optional job enables you to earn up to $1,200/semester)
Total: $45,520*
ACT 28-31 | SAT 1300-1410
3.0+ cumulative GPA
$2,000/semester for eight semesters
$2,734/semester for two semesters to cover freshman year housing (junior suite-style shared unit)
Total: $21,468*
ACT 23-27 | SAT 1130-1290
3.0+ cumulative GPA
$1,300/semester for eight semesters
Total: $10,400*
Louisiana residents who meet our scholarship requirements likely qualify for the Louisiana TOPS program. Be sure to submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) to apply for TOPS.
